Lending Library

Kent ISD maintains an inventory of devices and software available for loan to area teachers and families.  An item is loaned for a trial period of 2 months to determine effectiveness for the student's access to and progression in the curriculum.  Once effectiveness is determined, it is up to the district/building/family to put something in place long term.

To borrow a device or piece of software, go to the Assistive Technology Mini Catalog.   The Assistive Technology catalog allows you to view all equipment and software titles, available for loan online through REMC.  You will have to obtain a Client Number to borrow an item.  Call Dee at 365-2232 for assistance.

Consultation:

Local district and building teams can address assistive technology concerns and decision-making for students and classrooms.   Consultation to individual teams is available from Kent ISD, to assist in the assistive technology decision-making process, when additional information is required.  Related forms are available here, with contact required through Kindy Segovia ( kindysegovia@kentisd.org )
